Oh so many cards ...

Welcome!

Today I've got a few cards in store for you ...

The first card was created for the My Mind's Eye feminine/masculine challenge.  The challenge was to use something masculine on a feminine card (or vise versa).

I chose to create a masculine card but use jewels to embellish it (something that some men might argue is a little girly :)

This uses the MME Follow Your Heart collection ... very fun paper ... I loved the kites and just had to cut some out and pop them up for some extra dimension!

Card #2 that I am sharing today was created for the the Love to Create Challenge Blog's sentiment challenge and the Gingham challenge over at Moxie Fab World.

I used different shaped butterflies and a nice wooden button with a twine bow for that simple embellishment.  You'll also notice some subtle zig zag stitching around the top corners of the card.

And the final card for today was based on the following Sweet Sunday sketch:

And this is my take on the sketch:

I've used stitching and wide grey ribbon to add various textures ... and the sweet sentiment ("You are my sunshine") inspired my sun burst with a button in the centre.

Thanks for checking in today ... I hope you've been inspired!
