I'm a Card Patterns Guest Designer!

Hello!  I am honoured and excited to be able to share some cards that I created as a Card Patterns guest designer!

This is the sketch that Card Patterns has posted for this week's challenge ... check it out here.  It's a really fun sketch ... you should definitely play along :)

And this is the card that I created for the challenge ... I made this for my younger sister's birthday!  You can see that I chose to create a banner with buttons and folded circles for the scalloped edge along the top.  I also switched up the middle shape for a rectangle!  I love taking a sketch & making it work for me!

I used my sewing machine to sew around each of the background papers ... a really easy way to add that extra something!

Now ... believe it or not, I loved the sketch so much that I had to create a second card!!!

I used the co-ordinating stickers that worked with this paper to create the centre piece ... and popped various pieces up to add that extra dimension.
