Challenge Time -- with some pretty cards!!!

Hello ... today I'm sharing two cards that I created for a few card challenges.

The first card was created when I was inspired by the following three challenges:
3) My Mind's Eye -- use brads in a creative way!

The first two challenges inspired me to create a Mother's Day Card ... and both had beautiful pictures on their blogs that inspired me to use pastel colours for my card!

This is the card that I created ... I hand stamped the sentiment on the middle banner piece.  The card is created with the very beautiful My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline collection.  So Pretty!

Once again I've found a fun use for my sewing machine ... not only did I sew some zig-zagged borders around the edges ... but I also stitched along the top of the banner.

I used brads for the connecting spots on my banner ... an easy way to add some elegance!

The second card that I am sharing today is a birthday card that I designed in celebration of CAS-ual Friday's birthday!

I used a paper doll die, some simple twine and a sentiment tag with a  rub-on happy birthday sentiment.  The card is nice and simple, but effective!

Thanks for stopping in today!
Don't forget to check in tomorrow to see what else I've been creating!
