Today I'm posting a number of cards that I created for various challenges!
The first card that I am sharing was created based on this sketch at Retro Sketches:
I also decided to enter this card in the Flutter By Wednesday's Challenge to use a butterfly on a birthday card. For the focus of the card I used a cluster of butterflies, flowers, pins and brads for this sweet embellishment and kept the rest of the card relatively simple.
The next card that I created was for the Card Positioning sketch challenge below:
I created the tree with a new die that I picked up at ScrapFest on the weekend ... I love how detailed it is. Pretty Little Ribbon posted a challenge to use a die in your project... so I wanted to show off this beautiful tree :)
The next card that I have created is for CAS-ual Fridays where I was challenged to use 2 colours that were opposite on the colour wheel:
This cute little orange kitty chipboard embellie inspired me to use a blue and orange theme for this card. I used my sewing machine to sew around the card to create a frame (I actually like that it is imperfect) and I enjoy the simplicity of the card.
CRAFT Challenge posted a challenge to create a project inspired by this picture:
And believe it or not ... when I see rolling landscapes it reminds me of the back fields at the farm that I grew up on (although we didn't have any mountains) --- so I decided to create a farm field inspired card.
Thanks for stopping in today.
Be sure to check in tomorrow for some more creations!
