HAPPY MONDAY!!!
(I don't know about you, but I'm still looking for that extra hour that I lost due to daylight savings ...)
Yesterday was a beautiful day! I spent some time enjoying the lovely weather outdoors ... then spent some time with my windows open, enjoying the fresh breeze and scrappy time!
My Mind's Eye (MME) posted Blog Challenge #33 for a layout on Friday ... and I was excited to tackle the project.
My niece Zoe is one of my favourite people to scrap ... her personality always seems to jump right off the page! I had more than 1 photo that I wanted to use for this layout, so I decided to add a little photo strip at the bottom.
I chose to use the MME Navy Lush paper line ...I had a number of MME brads and ribbons to accent the paper. I liked the effect of using the monochromatic navy papers ...and decided to use red lettering and flourishes to add that "splash" of colour.
I tucked a MME journaling circle under the photo corner ... still leaving enough room to add the date later... once I figure out when the photos were taken :)
and as always ... I made some cards with my scraps ...
Thanks again for stopping in today!
I have plenty more to share ... so come back tomorrow!
This is beautiful! LOVE your take on the challenge!
