For the last year I've been following the ScrapMuch? blog and Scrappin' Around The Clock blog (both blogs that can be credited to the wonderful and talented Laura Whitaker)... and recently (thanks to Laura's suggestions) I started following some other inspiring blogs too! So I've decided to join in the fun and share some of my thoughts and creations too!
SO LET'S GET STARTED!!!
This weekend I spent some time having fun with American Craft's Amy Tan lines ...
First off, I've designed a layout using the packaging (yes ... the packaging) from the Amy Tangerine Sketchbook paper pack ... I cut out the bits and pieces that showed samples of the paper contents and then embellished on a few, and swapped out a few for some photos of myself with friends Vinoja and Jenn.
The photo quality wasn't the best ... so none of the three photos would have been suited for a single photo layout ... but I feel this layout style lets me get away with blurrier photos!
I had fun creating the various tiny embellishments for the various squares ... I even used some straight pins (something that I've picked up from my sister Elaine co-owner of ScrapMuch?)
I didn't embellish every square but chose a select few and added a little flair!
As always, I made a card with some of the scraps from the paper I was working with ...
And of course I had to add a cute flower to finish off the card!
That's all for today. I'll be back tomorrow to share some more ...
Thanks for stopping by!
